Gear values set for imperial are set separately and are not an exact calcution of the metric values and if you are doing math only in imperial and converting it explains why the numbers are off. Metric values shown on the game are only round value (with some errors). You can try with the braid 0.23mm it's not 9.7kg but it is 9.07kg, if you convert values from imperial units to the metric units you will show the good value used by the game.
